Lamps

Tomorrow’s lamp design belongs to those who dare to challenge the traditional approach. Our lamp collections are designed to fit in and match the rest of the Hammel collection, yet they are still unique design items you can place wherever you want in your home.

Heim from Light by Hammel is designed by the Danish industrial designer Signe Sjøstrand. Signe has named the lamp ‘Heim’ after the god Heimdall from Nordic mythology. His name and his role were enigmatic, but they had to do with light according to the words “The one who shines over the world”.

Heim is a rechargeable and portable table lamp. The disc with LED lights creates the impression that the lamp is floating. The cork handle gives the brass lamp a contemporary and homely look. It is hygge, and designed in Denmark.
